A 15 year veteran of strategic Digital/Interactive marketing, experience includes: social (media) influence, search engine marketing (SEO & SEM), email communications, web/social analytics and have done most things digital. Have a passion for public speaking and have spoken regionally/nationally on SEO, SEM and social media theory, strategy & best practices. In my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many Fortune 500 and other top-tier brands. A few of them include: Sprint LTD, 3M Health Care, Hilti, Dictionary.com, FMC, TAMKO, Wellmark BC&BS and many other national brands.
I enjoy speaking publicly and sharing my digital marketing experiences and ideas regionally, and nationally. During the last few years, I’ve had the opportunity to speak at colleges and universities, including NWMSU and UMKC School of Pharmacy. As a featured speaker at the Integrated Marketing Summit and DemandCon (national marketing conferences), I presented in 8 top-tier cities, including San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta and others. Regionally, I had the opportunity to speak at AIM Institute (Omaha), Kansas City chapters of the Business Marketing Association (BMA), American Marketing Association (AMA), Ad Club (AAF), PRSSA and others.
Currently active in several non-profit and professional organizations in Kansas City, including: cabinet co-chair, marketing for United Way of GKC, co-chairperson of the United Way GKC social media committee, board member for the Kansas City chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA) and 1212 Club board member @ The Kansas City Club.
