To preface my bio I would like to state that this (Chris Kovac) site/blog is an arena for independent (and experimental) thought. My thoughts, comments, statements, predictions, hypotheses, ramblings, etc are not in anyway associated with my place of employment, my church, my deity, parents, siblings, lawyers, my Guidance Counselor, my dog or any other person or organization.

I am also proud to be a semi-professional poker player. I started playing seriously in 2004 and have moved in stakes from $5 buy in tournements on up to $10-20 No Limit Hold’em ($2,000 buy in). I am also happy to say I have cashed in a number of high stakes major online tournaments. I currently play on Full Tilt Poker, Ultimate Bet and PokerStars. I play monstly 5 tables of $1/2-5/10 online and $5/10 live. I hope to post several blogs about poker and poker theory. Stakes to poker players indicate a certain level and it is not about the money, as hard as that is to believe. Ask any pro, they play to beat the game 1st, play for money 2nd.
